FIND YOUR MODE

One word game. A different pace for every day.

Choose deduction, anagrams, timed play or a friendly battle to match your mood.

When you want room to think

Try Practice for an untimed anagram session. Choose easy, medium, hard or mixed difficulty, and use hints as often as you need. It is a place to explore the letters without worrying about a rating.

Grid is another option when you prefer deduction to speed. Your guesses save as you play, and the daily reset gives each puzzle a clear date. Check the next reset before leaving a puzzle overnight.

When you want a little urgency

Daily Scramdle has different time limits by difficulty, with bonus points for quick solutions. Time Attack gives you three minutes to start and ten more seconds for each correct word.

Timed games keep running during interruptions. Start when you have a few minutes available, and use Practice when you cannot commit to a continuous round.

When you want an opponent

Invite a friend with a room code or choose a computer opponent for an instant unrated battle. Both use the same three-minute format as ranked play.

Ready for the leaderboard? Sign in and enter a ranked battle. Your rating estimates your performance over eligible matches; it is separate from daily scores and unaffected by bot practice.
